Prof. BP Sinha has made several pioneering and innovative contributions on different aspects of Computer Architectures and Algorithms in order to realize High Performance Computing, the search for which is prime motivation of researchers throughout the world. His work on design of VLSI implementable fast algorithms for multiplication has a very significant impact on the computing technology. The Multi-Mesh topology introduced by him is cost-effective as well as efficient for building commercial parallel processing systems. He has also made significant contributions to wireless networks and mobile computing by designing efficient algorithms for channel allocation, energy-efficient and secure wireless communication which have high societal impact..
