  • I have guided about 20 PhD students, 17 in India and 8 in USA. I was on Faculty of IIT Kanpur from 1976-81, Dean of R and D from 1976 to 1978.
  • Helped develop the Power Program at Univ. of Illinois.
  • I have written 8 books both research and text books. Three of them are in India. I am a consultant to a Doe Lab in US and also to UCLA in power area. I was a Bhatnagar award winner in 1974.

  • Power Engineer in B.E.S.T Mumbai 1953-57.
  • Acting Asst. Professor U. C. Berkeley 1961-62, UCLA 1962-63.
  • Asst. Assoc. and Professor at IIT Kanpur 1963 -81.
