Major Professional Contributions:

Dr. Mahesh Mehendale was instrumental in building and laying the foundation for the Digital SoC design competency in India. He led the design team which developed India's first ever commercial DSP code named "Ankoor". The chip was originally designed for the motor control applications for hard disks and is still considered as one of the most successful parts in the C2X family and continues to earn revenue for Tl. Over the last 30+ years Mahesh has led the development of multiple world class SoC designs targeting multiple embedded processing markets including digital media players, video conferencing, IP security cameras, mobile applications processors and automotive infotainment. His present area of focus is ultra-low powerIoT sensor nodes..
