Major Professional Contributions:

I have contributed extensively to the development of Digital Signal Processing based communication systems used in earlier Indian communication network as well as those developed by DRDO at Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Bangalore. My early research in the area of Signal Processing led to the efficient design of Transmultiplexers for TDM to FDM conversion and vice versa. My work on order statistic filtering, Systolic architectures for DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) and Discrete Sine Transform VLSI implementation has found practical applications and has been cited in US Patent No 6868188. My work in the area of cryptography has led to interesting results in the design and implementation of encryption systems using Brahmagupta- Bhaskara equation..
